Our first software product

Meet Kitchen Direction.

A purpose-built tool for smaller hospitality operators who need better control of food costs, menus and commercial decisions — without expensive enterprise systems.

A digital workspace for the commercial side of your kitchen.

Our initial Recipe & Menu Studio has been developed through hands-on work with a real hospitality operation. The current local prototype brings ingredient data, costed recipes, menus and margin decisions into one connected workflow.

Current status: private pilot and active development. It is not yet a hosted, multi-customer subscription service and is not available for public sign-up.

Current development areas

From ingredients
to commercial control.

Four closely connected workflows within the Recipe & Menu Studio prototype.

01 / INGREDIENTS

Know what goes into every dish.

Central ingredient records, purchase units, supplier costs and the underlying data needed for accurate costing.

02 / RECIPES

Cost recipes with confidence.

Build dishes and reusable preparation components while accounting for quantities, yield, wastage and VAT.

03 / MENUS

Turn recipes into menus.

Organise menu sections and outputs, with integrated recipe links and allergen information for review.

04 / MARGINS

Make the numbers visible.

Track gross margin against targets and use commercial review and approval workflows before introducing low-margin dishes.

Feature descriptions relate to the working prototype; capabilities and availability may change before commercial release. Allergen information requires independent verification before service.

Product direction

Start with menus.
Connect the operation.

We see Recipe & Menu Studio as the first module in a broader hospitality platform, rather than a standalone costing spreadsheet.

Future development areas we're exploring include supplier purchasing, stock control, table bookings, service ordering, kitchen workflows and payment integrations.

These are ideas on our product roadmap, not released or guaranteed integrations.
